Edizzjoni bilingwi bil-Grieg Antik u bil-Malti. Dan il-proġett kien iffinanzjat kollu mill-Kunsill Nazzjonali tal-Ktieb ta’ Malta u ppubblikat minn Edebooks, 2023, Malta. Grazzi speċjali lill-mużew Ägyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung ġewwa Berlin il-Ġermanja, u lill-pubblikaturi Brill ġewwa Boston, l-Amerika.Book description.Il-Frammenti ta’ Saffo (2023) gathers and translates Sappho’s poetry from Ancient Greek into Maltese by Warren Bartolo. The publication also includes an Introduction, an essay on Translation Theory and the Impossible, a commentary on the fragments and an appendix which includes the most recent findings of Sappho’s poetry. Bilingual edition Ancient Greek and Maltese. This project was fully funded by the National Book Council of Malta and published by Edebooks, 2023, Malta. Il-Frammenti ta’ Saffo (2023) irċieva l-Fond Nazzjonali tal-Ktieb 2022.Note about the author.Warren Bartolo (he/him) did a Bachelor's in Classics at the University of Malta and a Master’s in Comparative Literature at the University of Kent. His research interests include Translation Studies, Queer Theory, Comparative Literature, Posthumanism, and Autotheory. In 2020 he translated David Horvitz's artist book How to Shoplift Books into Maltese. Il-Frammenti ta’ Saffo (2023) received the National Book Fund 2022.
