Maltese artist Ġużeppi Maria Caruana was an active painter between 1920 and 1960. After his formal training in Malta with Lazzaro Pisani, he furthered his studies in Rome at the<em>Accademia di Belle Arti</em>, the<em>Liceo di Arte Moderna</em>, and the<em>British Academy</em>. Caruana was highly requested to paint in churches and his work can be admired in the parishes of Ħaż-Żabbar, Siġġiewi, Naxxar and other churches across Malta.This publication documents Caruana’s work, featuring both his church commissions as well as private collections.<em>Photography: Daniel Cilia</em><em>Self-published by the author</em>
