We no longer recall how we first encountered the small, dull-red cloth volume, or where, even though it was this very book that enticed us towards our theory of timely cladding, but now, in spurious commemoration of that fateful meeting which was to irrevocably tailor our future, we would like to wear a suit cut in the tint of Carlyle’s philosophy of clothes.
